The team re-forms as Glenwood Rovers, and after an exhaustive search, Donal Foley is selected as manager from a shortlist
consisting of himself. Former manager John Sheehan moves upstairs to take over as chairman, while several new signings replace
the ageing stars of the Superleague. Drafted in are Karl "Whacker" Reid, Rob "Bonehead" Treacy, Peter
"Neds" McKenna and Dave "Dave" Dalton. Suitably equipped with some proper football nicknames, the club
finish in mid table safety in Division 3A Sunday of the AUL. This is due in no small part to the goals of another new boy,
Eamonn Dunne, and the defensive solidity of stalwarts Brian Morrissey and 43 year old Shane O'Brien.
